The thread works equally well in sewing machines, overlockers, cover machines and embroidery machines – or for hand sewing. A fun choice for children's clothing, bags, fancy dress costumes or Halloween projects.

This is how it works:
The thread needs to be charged in light to start glowing. Hold it against a lamp for a few seconds. The longer the charge, the longer and brighter the effect shines in the dark. According to the manufacturer, it is based on new technology that provides better and brighter light than older self-luminous threads.

When it is not lit, the wire is white.
