Gütermann Elastic is used, for example, for sewing smocks, but also has many other uses.
Can be used in a regular household sewing machine, but only as bobbin thread.
Please note that if you are sewing in stretchy fabrics such as jersey, tricot or knit fabrics and want a stretchy seam, you should sew with regular standard thread, overlock thread or cotton thread (depending on the project) – not stretch thread.
